Australia Trip - Week 3

Not much to report on the third week of this trip outside of work, work, work. Well over 70 hours for the last week, including Saturday. The most noteworthy thing that happened was an extension of the trip to a fourth week, due to said work. New departure date for home is now October 30. Which sucks for many reasons: I'm going to miss a friend's Halloween party, and can't watch the World Series, it's difficult to play CoX here so I'm missing the Halloween event, and so on.

Outside of that, the most exciting thing to happen was getting hailed upon. I was walking back to the hotel from work one day, clouds in the sky but no active rain, and right near the end of the trip it started to rain. I was thinking "Gee, those are big raindrops" when I saw one fly by and realized it was hail. Small stuff, fortunately. The guys here tell me they sometimes get hail in the golf-ball range, so I was lucky.
